The Urgent Need in El Salvador

This year, Consumed Youth Ministries has been invited back to Chalchuapa, which is a small township just outside of San Salvador, the capital city of El Salvador.

Due to the existing poverty and recent floods that have crippled an already poor area many of their youth are quitting school at young ages to help out their families.  In many cases, they have been forced into gang activity or drug sales to earn an income.

We have partnered with several local churches in the area and will be holding a crusade using worship, dramas, and the Word of God to communicate the greater plan that God has for them.   

This trip provides an opportunity to meet the physical and spiritual needs of a community that is desperately in need.  More than anything, We would value your prayers for our team and those whose lives will be touched by God through us.  We believe God answers prayers and are asking you to pray for safety, good health, smooth travel, and financial support.  Just knowing that you will be praying will give us peace as we go to spread the gospel.
